Goal:
Understanding and practising the most important ceramic-related techniques for students of materials engineering.
Contents:
Processing scheme (powder preparation, forming techniques, sintering and microstructure analysis)
Electric properties (supraconductors, ionic conductors)
Thermal and mechanical properties (thermo-shock resistance, strength testing, toughness)
Duration: 8 days during the winter and summer terms.
