Education
The educational program in ceramic materials consists of classes, seminars and practical laboratory projects for both, undergraduate as well as graduate students. We are commited to offering a supportive learning environment for students who are accomplishing a semester, diploma or PhD thesis in order to reach the necessary skills for todays technological society. Within these projects, students are highly encouraged to collaborate with other research institutes in Switzerland or abroad.
Regular seminars organized by the chair or by the department represent the basis for getting to know experts in ceramic materials working in academia and industry.
Excursions and visits to other research institutes and engineering companies are offered on a regular basis.
